Is iPhoto not showing images correctly? Is it missing images even though they are in your library?
Well try this.
Back up your iPhoto library then hold down the apple (command) key and the alt key then launch iPhoto. It will bring up a menu asking if you wish to rebuild your iPhoto Library (see right) Check all four tick boxes then click rebuild. It may take a while to update.
Once finished all your images issues are normally sorted.
